Last day in Rome.

I didn’t go into the Colosseum or several other “important” destinations in Rome. Living and traveling in Europe has made me slightly agoraphobic, and often if there is a long line or lots of people packed into some historical or beautiful space, it doesn’t seem worth it.

In the end my favorite part of Rome was wandering the streets for hours – as in most cities.

My time in Rome has been my favorite trip so far – I traveled alone so wasn’t dependent on anyone else’s itinerary, I had people to meet up with but still plenty of solitary wandering, and I had enough time to explore peacefully.
