In the earlylate hours, when yesterday runs into today.

Went out to the beach to look for the supposed Supermoon. Spent some time fiddling around with my tripod and settings, watching the white moonlit waves washing up onto a beach stained with footprints and yellow artificial light. Then we threw all caution to the wind and splashed around in the water – warmer than the cold sand.

Walked back home after 2am, soaking wet and covered with sand among the Saturday night finde crowd – girls in tiny skirts heading for the beach dangling their tall heels, drunk American frat boys stumbling around and having a cheeto fight on the Esplanada, and other more experienced partiers leaving the lightweights behind and wheeling a shopping cart full of botellón past us into the darkness.
